Last Saturday at a meeting in High Lane, the Hazel Grove Liberal Democrats reselected Andrew Stunell MP as their Parliamentary Candidate for the next General Election. Mr Stunell received 100% of the votes cast.

Commenting at the meeting, local MP, Andrew Stunell said:

"It has been an honour to represent the people of Hazel Grove constituency in Westminster since 1997, and I am delighted to be given the chance to be the local Liberal Democrat choice once again.

"With the Labour party discredited and divided, and the Tories avoiding making any policy decisions at all costs, I am looking forward to campaigning for the Liberal Democrat vision of a greener, fairer and freer Britain." ENDS
